14th Annual Midwest Women’s Herbal Conference

Midwest Women's Herbal provides herbal education and opportunities for transformation. Immersed in the tradition of the village herbalist, grandmothers, mothers, daughters, sisters, and children gather in a co-created village. Through earth-centered healing and nourishment we ally with the plants that grow around us. From the ground up we connect to weave ourselves, our families, and our communities into the dynamic spiral of health. Learn more at: MIDWESTWOMENSHERBAL.COM

Sacred Drumming: Building Community through West African Sounds & Spirituality -Presentation with Fode Camara & Helen Bond in Los Angeles, California

The Guibord Center Presents this Free Event

Many of us yearn to meet in person, to see each other, to be together - especially in these tough times. The spirituality of Guinea, West Africa and indeed, of Indigenous Spirituality throughout the world, is deeply communal. It is often expressed through tribal rituals such as drumming. Drumming awakens the heart and reconnects us to the Earth and the essence of all beings. (Drums will be provided, and you are welcome to bring your own or just soak in the rhythm.)
